I was born in 1977 and the magic of drums faszinated me from a very early age on. When I was 12 years old I came into the skateboard scene and had a real freaky decade while I discovered the secrets of body physics when I skated and the wide menthal structures of human being at the beginning of increasing popularity of Techno in the early 90s. After several years of being a clubber in Southwest Germany I came into the art of mixing Vinyl in 1997. This way of creative work flashed me since the first day because it is hard to learn how to pitch in the right way and to fade the new track at the right time and to create a real mix from separate tracks. I mixed House at first, then added some funky Techno - later known as Techhouse. In 2005 I discovered the new Genre Minimal and was immediately faszinated from this music. It was no question that I had to mix that, too. Now I am specialized in funky Minimal with the right portion of strength. My sets are not every time the same because I want to take the listener on a journey through a variety of soundscapes in the world of Minimal oriented music. So I give much about the tracklist of a set and my sets are structurized from the beginning to the end. After many years of being a Vinyl DJ I changed my equipment for digital work now. Long time I fought for analog Vinyl mixing but to close my eyes forever to the possibilities of the digital world would be simply silly. It has many advantages to be around digital - and I find more and more by continueing my digital creations. I will keep my Liveshow "Minimax" on Soundcheckradio every two weeks and my monthly show on Digitally Imported is renamed from "Vinylism" to "FADE". There will be a very high level of Minimal mixing - I promise you will hear the difference to Vinyl...
